epg_new.dat is created, but do i need to modify usr/bin/enigma.sh to load the file ?
nothing shows when enigma reboots, using newnigma 3.0.1 on dm800 .

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe seit der Installation des Plugins im stable-Bereich NE 3.01 auf der DM8000 folgedes Phänomen:
Nur das EPG der aktuellen Sendung und ggf. der folgesendung ist ausführlich, anschliessend habe ich nur das Genre (z.B. Telenovela) und dann eine Nummer (z.B. 7-512-373)
Hab mal ein Beispiel angefügt.
Ist das normal?

they messed up cross epg in favor of rytec epg
i am using DreamEliteBH_DM8000_133B
there cross epg stil works

Not true, no one messed up, the reason Crossepg works still in DreamElite is because they are never upto date with latest CVS ! One reason I would never use it.
It is the latest CVS that has stopped crossepg working, It doesn't work in any image that closely tracks official CVS, another example is OoZooN.

This is what i am putting in:-
HDD_EPG_DAT = "/autofs/9a176434-8b92-4862-a5ef-468cdd89f255/epg.dat"
I have also tried this :-

That is where my usb is auto mounted to and thats how i access it via ftp when i goto my sdc1 folder in ftp it automatically goes to the folder named 9a176434-8b92-4862-a5ef-468cdd89f255 both of these folders are sub folders of the autofs folder.
As soon as i run rytec it powers up the hdd and creates the epg files on the hdd, it does nothing with the usb at all, i have had to disable standby on my hdd because if my hdd spins down the epg data seems to be missing many details.
Untill 2-3 days ago i was using crossepg on my usb and have never had any problems, but since 2-3 days ago it has started giving a green screen when the downloader starts and thats why im forced to use rytec. |

Hallo,
könnte mir jemand erklären was das Plugin genau macht ? Mir erschließt sich nicht ganz der Vorteil, diese Plugin, welches scheinbar EPG Daten Importiert anstatt der vom Satelliten übertragenen zu nutzen.

Vorteil:
es gibt sender, wie sky uk oder sky it da wird das epg nicht so abgerufen, daher braucht man das..

Hi thanks for your reply i have tried editing boot.py i assume you mean this line MEDIA = ("/media/hdd/", "/media/usb/", "/media/cf/", "/tmp")
So i edited it like this MEDIA = ("/media/hdd/", "/media/usb/", "/media/cf/", "/tmp","/autofs/sdc1/")
And also i put my edit first not last like this MEDIA = ("/autofs/sdc1/","/media/hdd/", "/media/usb/", "/media/cf/", "/tmp")
Nothing makes any difference it will not use any other than hdd
